Pegasus is a 1974 Cape Dory Typhoon 18. Equipped with tiller steering, simple rigging, cockpit cushions, and a full keel; this little yacht will keep you smiling for hours. The only engine you will find on this boat is the wind that fills your sails… so, don’t sail further than you’re willing to paddle back home.
If you’re not ready to rent, you can start with sailing lessons first. New renters will have to pay an additional $50 to perform a rental checkout.

Jeannette is a cold molded wooded boat that all wooden boat fans can appreciate. Based on Chuck Paine’s design of the ‘Carol’, Jeannette sports a full keel, roller furling jib, and an inboard diesel engine. Jeannette can accommodate up to 5 sailors at one time.
If you’re not ready to rent, you can start with sailing lessons on Pegasus first. New renters will have to pay an additional $75 to perform a rental checkout.

Additional Hours – $100/hour
Named Phase 3 this Hunter 340 has it all. She is equipped with wheel steering, roller furling jib, a large cockpit, two berths, a galley, dining table/quarter berth, head/shower, swim step, auto-pilot, and more. Phase 3 can be rented by anyone with proper experience. If you have not rented at Sail Monterey before you must pay $75 to preform and pass a rental checkout with one of our instructors.
